Saudi authorities now allow women aged 45+ to travel for Umrah without a Mahram in an approved organised group. Women under 45 must travel with a Mahram (husband, father, brother or son). We facilitate Mahram documentation as needed.
Outside Ramadan, the cooler months (October to March) are most comfortable for worship. Ramadan is the most spiritually rewarding - particularly the last 10 nights including Laylat al-Qadr - but it is the busiest period. Book Ramadan packages 60+ days in advance.
Based on a hadith of the Prophet PBUH, Umrah in Ramadan carries the reward of Hajj - but it does not legally replace the obligation of Hajj for Muslims who are physically and financially able. Hajj remains a separate pillar of Islam.
