You begin in Sigiriya in the cultural heartland (two nights), then move up to Kandy — the hill capital and home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (two nights). From there you climb into the cool tea country of Nuwara Eliya (two nights) before descending to the golden southwest coast at Bentota for three nights of beach time. The tour finishes with two nights in Colombo, the lively seaside capital.
